Know Before You Apply
The programme-wise eligibility information below is based on applicable Pharmacy Council of India regulations and official PCI literature. Candidates must also satisfy any additional conditions prescribed by the competent admission authority for the relevant academic session.
B. Pharmacy
A candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination recognized by the competent authority, with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and/or Biology as individual subjects, as prescribed under the applicable PCI regulations.
B. Pharmacy – Lateral Entry
A candidate seeking lateral entry to B. Pharmacy should have passed the D. Pharmacy course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. Lateral entry is to the second year / third semester as provided under the applicable PCI provisions.
D. Pharmacy
Candidates should possess the qualifying science-stream education prescribed under the applicable PCI Education Regulations for the Diploma in Pharmacy. The prescribed qualification includes Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics, subject to the applicable regulations and admission requirements.
M. Pharmacy – Pharmaceutics
Candidates should possess a B. Pharmacy degree from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and should satisfy the applicable minimum qualifying marks prescribed under the M. Pharmacy regulations. The general requirement is 55% aggregate marks in the B. Pharmacy programme, with applicable relaxation for eligible categories.
M. Pharmacy – Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Candidates should possess a B. Pharmacy degree from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and should satisfy the applicable minimum qualifying marks prescribed under the M. Pharmacy regulations. The general requirement is 55% aggregate marks in the B. Pharmacy programme, with applicable relaxation for eligible categories.
